Entertainment Bits on 2fm

Anyone else heard just how terrible these are? Driving back to work after lunch and some 'presenter' Tara Stewert doing the entertainment segment and my god, it was so cringe-worthy. Stuttering all over the place, clearly given no on air direction and mic pops throughout the whole thing.

Fair to say 2fm is letting things slip even further.

I work in an office where 2FM is the station of choice and everything about it is crap.

A recent example would be on Louise McSharry's show. There's a 'Yay or Nay' quiz where contestants state whether various facts are true or false. When the show started (probably only 2 or 3 weeks ago), the quiz had "yay" and "nay" sound effects. Then sometime last week they were replaced with sound effects from Nicky Byrne's show. One day there wasn't any sound effects at all!

I realise it's a very minor nitpick but it just come across as sloppy.

    Sloppy and utterly lazy.

Wouldn’t call it a nitpick. It’s just ruining the consistency of the game (and the show in general). Production value must not be a priority at 2FM if they can’t even get sound effects.

I now see 2FM as "gayFM".

I can safely switch over at 7pm.

She's probably related to someone in RTE. She'll have her own show soon no doubt.
