How to find part number for my Fiesta spark plugs?

I need to buy some spark plugs and want genuine motorcraft plugs. However there are a million types and not sure which exact one I need.

Any ideas on how to find the exact one? THanks

Factory plugs used in the later 1.25 fiestas were made by Bosch for example.

I have a 2004 Fiesta, 1.25l petrol. Were these also bosch?

It was recommended that I use Ford spark plugs only by the AA guy.

Just looking at spark plugs in general, some have 4 little leg things (no idea what they're called - electrodes?) and others have just one. Does it make a difference which one I use?

Just go into your local motor factors and give them your reg no. They'll be able to give you the correct plugs.

Ford don't have a plant where they manufacture spark plugs, they'll have spec'ed them and given a contract to another company. I had a '99 Fiesta, 1.25, always just put in whatever the motor factors gave me

If it were me I would go to the motor factors and use whatever spark plugs they give me, but anyway here are the part numbers you need for the 1.25 litre engine (2002 - 2008). It's the same part number for all petrol engines except the 1.3 litre in fact.

Bosch HR MEV Gap 1.3mm
Motorcraft AYFS 22 C Gap 1.3mm

Any good motorfactors will have genuine Ford plugs in stock. Fords are quite fussy about the correct plugs, as are quite a few brands actually
