    3:35 Lincoln

I’m going with a couple of real big priced horses here that are fully fit. Chatez won the spring cup a while ago and should be ready for a big run here with some decent form this year. Ventura Knight will have his ideal ground and trip here and could well get involved at a big price as well.

1 Point EW Chatez & Ventura 40/1 6 places Paddy

I am on the Ventura Knight train as well, two from three on this track with ground to suit. You can get a whooping 7 places with Unibet at 40/1 as well.

    2:05 Meydan
Van Beethoven’s form last year seemed to tail of after a good start, but I was happy enough with his last run behind Too Darn Hot. I think he will be suited by this step up in trip and the surface should be no issue. My guess is the stable have this race picked out as his most likely win this year and he will be firing on all cylinders. He has had a prep run which we can ignore.
    1 Point win 14/1

Cracking card at Meydan, have already done a few antepost in the main races, but Hunting Horn in the 4:00 looks a crazy ew price at 50/1 in an 8 runner race. Had a nice prep race on Doha last month obviously with the intention of targeting this race.

Strat 2:30 - Think the favourite American Tom is not a reliable type and quite vulnerable here at a price of 5/4. The same would apply to second favourite ridden by the stable's second jockey who I am not a big fan of. Think the door is left ajar for Carrigmoorna Matt at 8/1 here. A one time winner at Ireland before being switched over to the Mulholland stable, it's been tried at a few different trips with varying success. Think today's trip over 2m 2f on good ground should give every chance of bringing out the best in this fella.

Utto 3:20 - think the outsider of the field here has a much better chance than the odds of 11/1 suggestion. Dropped 3lb from last run when it finished tailed off after initially race above its weight (subsequently found to have lost a shoe), market may just be ignoring what looked like a very good run that had a legitimate excuse.

Utto - 3:55 - Doesyourdogbite on the slide in the ratings, I think the drop down in trip from staying distances and class of race might just spark a revival here. 12/1 bet365.

    4:00 Mayden
    Hunting Horn
wouldn’t have much to find with a lot of these in what looks a weak enough renewal. He has had a couple of prep runs and the fact that he has been kept in training leads me to think they can do something with him this year.
    1 Point EW 50/1 365/lads/coral

    1:30 Meyden
    Lost Treasure
is worth a small bet here. He is one of the most frustrating horses in training. That said I want to be there the one day he puts it all together at a huge price. His Abbay run shows what’s possible.
1 Point EW 50/1 4 places hills, 3 places elsewhere

    Thanks Aidan.
I've gone for an E/W double with Ventura Knight and Van Beethoven.

    2.05 golden jaguar @ 16/1

What an animal this is, tends to start slowly but has a fantastic turn of foot, won on the dirt on debut over 5 furlongs then a smart 7 furlong conditions race on turf where he came wide round the field on the turn into the straight and won it easy, last time out he was 2nd in a very similar race but he made an even wider sweeping move this time and took the lead before the extra furlong and wide run saw him weaken in the last furlong.
I'm expecting a big run with oisin Murphy on board, hopefully he can get a good position from a good draw.

Got this message from fairly reliable source

    “Pogo 1 Am 5.35 @ Uttoxeter 4/1 . Have a good day”

Silver Quartz in Lincoln ew 33/1

Decent turf form at end of last season, too bad to be true in trial on AW

Eddie Harty off to a flyer on the flat!
Going to have a few quid on his Dromod Lad @100/1 EW 6 places with 365.:)
200/1 general price with 3 places. Navan 4.35.

Ryan Moore providing no solution to Van Beethoven's poor draw, and of course Ryan compounds the draw problem by not tucking in to save ground but instead sticking to the scenic route while remaining Moored at the rear of the field. He starts off this season as a jockey to be fearful of for the wrong reasons.

Sands of Chorus big price , 40/1 EW Skybet , 5 places.
Back to a winnable mark and ground should be fine and running from a decent draw.

It might have helped if I had named the horse that lost the shoe.

    Race 5 - 4:15pm
THE SOLOMON ANDERSON-DIXON STEEPLE CHASE (A NOVICES' LIMITED HANDICAP) (CLASS 3)

Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that TANARPINO, placed fourth, lost its right fore shoe.

Cautious Approach in the 5.10 at Navan, currently 11/2 and 2nd FAV

Ran well in Dundalk last time out and the last time in Navan.

Thought the very same thing. Replays at fckin Uttoxeter taking preference over one of the richest races of the world.
