block garden wall, ball park price?

    Hi all,

    Just a quick question, roughly how much would you expect to pay for a 3.5/4ft high block wall of a total length of approx 50m around a back garden? Ground is level.

    we got a 6 foot wall built about 20 mtrs long. was about €1000.

    Put in the foundation yourself and the dog out would save you some money.

    On cost I can't help but will be looking for a small wall out the front to go around our garden as next door park in over the grass in our front lawn. Bumper over so no tyre marks but still want to have our space.

    The standard solution around where I live is big rocks. They look nice, too.

    A very rough guess without working it out too carefully is €2500+

    €2 per block bought and laid or more, €500 for concrete and a machine for a day. Oh and a little on top for sand and cement.
