    Hi
I am just seeing if anybody can help
I swapped interiors from fabric to leather from a B7 to a B7
The connections under driver's seat match perfect
However the passenger seat only has the yellow airbag sensor which matches
The connection for what looks like the lumbar support on new leather and seat occupancy sensor are not connected
There is no connection in floor for the plug
I have vag and cleared the fault with airbag but the red light keeps returning
Is there anything I can do

    Thanks

If the red light keeps returning then the fault isn't cleared, as ablove what was the text of the fault ?

    I know ye
I will scan car again 2moro and get the code
I'm nearly certain it is to do with the passenger seat sensor
Perhaps I can use vag to erase the seat sensor function
    Will put up code 2moro
    Thanks

Are you using VCDS? Be no harm to clear the codes and then rescan it again to see if it reappears.

Ok the car is throwing up the code

    01579 is the code

    Seat occupied sensor
So it has to be passenger seat
Open circuit because it's not plugged in I assume
I clear the code and it returns again

    Any help appreciated

Swap the innards of the seat base over.
