Lets see if this works as a fun idea for a thread. In the tree suspended about 2foot above the ground.

    20190324-103936.jpg

Result: Hit at it with driver and advanced it back to fairway about 50 meters on and in great shape :D Face of driver had a lovely smell of xmas tree for rest of the round.

It looks like a soccer ball, a golf ball is too small to lodge in a tree.

A golf ball can lodge in a tree for sure. Have a look at this for a shot... https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1606851636000336

And another one from Wicklow Golf Club that I had last year...

Well that's what the Truvis tech is supposed to do, so you'd make good salespeople for Calloway.

The tech is supposed to make the ball look bigger to your eye, even though its not actually any different in size.

Have played enough rounds with Roadrunner recently to be very familiar with those bright yellow Truvis balls!

They look funky but I don't like the way they roll when putting

I’ll have to dig out the pic of my ball plugged in the bunker in Strandhill last year. Was a nightmare shot out.

Slammed into the face with a driver. A yard more and a putt for eagle. Alas.. GUR :)
    Anyone recognize the course?

That looks a little like me off the distance, if my eagle eyes are working. It wouldn't be that rubbish course over in Scotland where you shot an OK round would it?

Fairly new to golf, usually have more ugly shots that good ones..
But I did have to laugh after hitting this shot. Never got more that 10 foot off the ground before coming to a stop lodged in these tree shoots..
