Dublin Airport Aircoach timing

I'll be arriving into Dublin airport at 4:50am from the US. The first aircoach leaves at 6:30am, and the next one isn't until 7:30am.

Any opinions on which to book? I suspect the first one should be fine, the only concern is if there's only one person checking passports in Dublin airport at that hour of the morning, causing a big delay.

Where do you need to go ? There’s no need to book the aircoach. You can pay the drivers.

Cork. I'm booking the trip to Dublin airport, so thought I might as well book the return as well.

I’d Hazard a guess and say that they will let you any of the busses if you appear with a booking for a bus that has left.

Yeah, some routes they make you pick a time, some they don't but if you miss the 6:30am I'd be very surprised if they didn't let you on the 7:30am provided it wasn't fully booked in advance,

+1 in my experience, you have to state a time for both legs but the policy is to let you take a later bus from the airport on arrival if your flight was delayed....

When travelling from Dublin Airport only, and where there has been a flight delay, passengers may be allowed to travel on a later journey than the one booked.

I always book the return leg for the earliest possible time I could make and if I'm boarding the bus (702 to Greystones, an hourly service) an hour or two late, I just say my flight was delayed and the driver will nod as if to say that he couldn't care less.

But I've never been on the Cork service so can't comment on how busy it might be at 7:30 a.m..

I've jumped on buses (Gobus and Aircoach) to Cork from Dublin airport at times that were different to what I had initially booked (same day though) due to flight delays. Drivers were happy to accommodate me providing there was room for everyone that had a prebooked ticket for that particular time bus.

One thing to consider, in my experience a lot of trans-atlantic flights actually arrive in earlier than scheduled. You should definitely make the 0630.
