I have this Montpellier 12 Place Settings White Freestanding 12L Dishwasher DW1254P dishwasher, about 2.5 years old and out of warranty. It fills up with water when put onto a wash and then reaches a certain level and cuts out. It was @250 euro delivered, is it worth me trying to fix it, I have checked the hose and the outflow and there doesn't seem to be a blockage, I have drained it manually and cleaned it out, but the issue persists. I think it is beyond economic repair, so to speak, and that I should replace it with a new one. Anyone got any thoughts or advice, please? I don't think I can get a repair man out to look at it, test it and replace any broken part for much less than the cost of a new one.

I had a Bosch before that lasted 5 or more years, it does seem like you get what you pay for, should I lash out €400 or so on a proper branded replacement in the hope that you get what you pay for in terms of usable lifetime?
