Brent Pope is a famous New Zealander living in Ireland. I can't think of anyone else we associate with NZ who lives here? (I often wonder how many New Zealanders themselves know who Brent Pope himself is).

Might need a New Zealander to assist here but was wondering is there any famous Irish person living in NZ?

Yes but people see him as a New Zealander first and foremost. No Irish accent there!

Doug Howlett (NZ's all-time top try scorer) living here since 2007. He'd be far better known across the world than Brent Pope.

He's head of Commercial and Marketing for Munster Rugby. And he helps to coach the senior Cork Hurlers in his spare time!

Didn’t realize that myself. Serious man in his playing days. Cork did well to get him
