Hello people, have been searching for a new car, done a few history checks. Took a fancy to one car it's 2011 was imported from the UK in 2014 but there's no mileage record for the car? To me it sounds like a red flag

    cartell checks?
    What year is the car?
have you checked its mot results online

Normally wouldn't bother with cartell checks but said I'd give it a shot today. The car is 2011 but was imported before it was due its first mot

Sure what's the point in wasting €25 when you are spending hundreds of times that...the mind truly boggles .

What point are you trying to make exactly? OP says they ran some history checks. Why would your mind boggle? Did the sarcasm do that to you?

OP, if there’s no verifiable service history for the car with recorded mileage, take it that the car is clocked, before and/or after import. Throw up a link there and we’ll dig deeper for you.

Does the nct show any mileages?

And does the service history tally up ?
You could ring the dealers who serviced the car to confirm them .
If it was main dealer serviced id be happy with that.
How many owners . If it was 1 owner the mileage should go up the same amount each year

If the car has no history and that's an issue then walk away, unless it's a rare car there'll be plenty with a history available to purchase.

I'd walk away from it sounds like there's something up with it mileage wise

Is it possible that the car was on a UK personal plate originally?
