    Does anyone know how long an online gp card/medical card application takes? I applied a few week ago but last week they said the payslip i uploaded wasnt sufficient and asked for a cert of income form filled out by my workplace which I got completed and uploaded straight away. My question is could it be months before I know of their decision on whether i am eligible for the gp visit card or not?

    You should have a response in not longer than 3 to 4 weeks. If not then call them.

    Hi

    Each application really takes different amount of time. When you have to send extra info it delays it by about 2 weeks because the info goes to the bottom of the pile.

    Ive seen applications take 1 week and ive seen them take 8 months!

    Always best to be extra prepared.. Next time send a few payslips and one is bound to be perfect.
