A tragedy to have happened on what should have been a good time for her and others I'm glad that the search teams were able to recover a body to give the family some closure.

Although for the article I think they could have chosen a slightly better picture of her?

It was the most recent picture of her, think it was taken Sat evening on the hen party, anyways she looked absolutely beautiful in the picture.

Was the earlier thread on this deleted?

Anyway though, there didn't sound like there was much hope in the circumstances. Sad to go on a night like that and not come home, poor kids in Cookstown the same.

It would have been the photo they were using to locate her as it was taken Saturday night for one thing so it was being used to appeal during the search. And second thing there is absolutely nothing wrong with it? And I don't mean that in a thanks whoring manner because I don't think you meant any ill will with the comment .

    So very sad.

Yesterday was a bad day. This, the deaths at the Cookstown nightclub and a couple of car deaths make for a St Patrick's day to forget

Its just awful, I heard she left the pub without her coat and said she was going back to Derry at half 11 at night when they were supposed to stay till today, strange circumstances, something must of happened - maybe a fight with the group and she ran off?
    Rip.
Those poor little kids are left without a mother today, their lives forever changed. Very sad.

There needs to be a conversation on these hen parties after this tragedy. Loads of young women drinking to excess, they're just accidents waiting to happen. It used to be they would have a few cocktails and have a laugh.

Ah, now, edit your post. No need for that level of speculation that I deleted..

No one knows how drunk they where and sure stags do the same, not to mention how half the country gets twisted regularly on a weekend.
Accidents happen. She was just unlucky.

No there doesn't. There are 1000s of hen and stag parties every year that don't result in issues. A tragic event and may she RIP but her being on a hen party surely isn't the blame.

There are hundreds through it every week, it's an extreme rarity. As awful a story as it is, it's not the time for preaching and vilifying everything.

You need to go have a conversation with yourself. About having some cop on.

Yeah, why pinpoint the alcohol issue as being a hen party thing. Binge drinking is just a horrible and accepted part of social life in Ireland. Hens, stags, Friday nights out, Saturday nights out, weddings, family events.

Mod NoteClosing this thread for the moment.
It's just going to turn into a speculation thread and discussion of issues that may have happened and none of us knows.
