There is an interesting documentary on the priest who was a strong advocate of the Rosary and prayer on RTÉ 1 on Thursday night.

The Rosery is a thing that always struck me as very odd.
In fact as a young fella I was amazed when I figured out what they were doing. If you want to pray for something or give thanks, fill your boots, but still don't get the idea of endless Hail Mary's.
