Oscar nominee Richard E. Grant speaks exclusively to Ray about awards season, his selfie with Barbra Streisand, the enduring popularity of 'Withnail and I' and the excitement surrounding his upcoming role in 'Star Wars: Episode IX'.

Irish couple living in Canada, Aaron and Jay O’Bryan, reveal their battle to get their one-year-old son Jake an Irish passport and why they still don’t have full legal rights in Ireland.

Star of stage and screen Pauline McLynn chats to Ray about her favourite St Patrick’s Day memories, why playing Irish mammies has served her career well and how she hasn’t given up hope of presenting the Eurovision!

14-year-old busker Sam Clifford tells Ray about being plucked from busking obscurity on Grafton Street earlier this week by country music superstar Keith Urban, to performing with him hours later in the 3Arena in front of 13,000 people.

Three teenage boys from Crumlin have made it to the World Irish Championships in North Carolina, putting them in the top 1% of Irish dancers worldwide. They’ll show off their dancing talents live in studio.

Plus there’ll be music from our St Patrick’s Day house band – Irish trad fusion group, Moxie.

The Ray D’Arcy Show, tonight at 9.30pm on RTÉ One.

So, in other words the same f**king items that he has already had on his radio show within the last month.

The show is a waste of time, as is the man himself.

I enjoyed both opening posts and I think we should do a showcase thread full of opening posts some week and ignore the show itself.

    Well done Wales.

Also don't miss the Rory Gallagher Tour on TG4 tomorrow at 11.10pm. It is unmissable.

I want to watch that Beatles yoke, but my More 4 has vanished.

    Spooky.

More 4 is prone to that. Are you using a Sky box or FTA? If the latter you may need to retune.

    Ah Boo-Urns

More4 have that one and the Oasis one as their only two Music Docs which are both repeated all the time, so it should be on again soon hopefully.

Twice he's said now, directly after the news, which showed the first St Patrick's Day parade took place earlier.

    I mean, jesus christ.

I only watched it a while ago on More 4.

    Flip sake.

At this stage I've been overruled and we're watching D'Arcy.

    Not United getting beaten.

    Flip sake.

Anyone know how many more Saturday Night Shows are there left now?

Can't be too many more considering they're cutting the show early?

Its not Ireland's first Paddy's Day parade, Athlone had ours today, I was in it in one of those inflatable T-Rex costumes (which is based on the Rex from Jurassic Park/World)

This RTE Player is the biggest load of horse**** on the internet. Plays ads, shows a few minutes of TV, repeats itself, stops, plays the ads again ...

I've streamed sport and television on all kinds of dodgy sites and none and worse than the RTE Player

The good thing about Rugby is, when you lose it's not like it's as important as Football.

Thinking of giving up watching Liverpool, it's not doing anything for my health.

They didn't know who country singing superstar Keith Urban is, I really like his wife...

Lets just hope this footage is not shown on a Micheal Jackson style Doc in a few years, just saying.

Jayzus, he's really gone down the anti-trans rabbit hole. He tried to get people to contact the national lottery to get them to withdraw funding from a charity for trans teens, resulting in a streamer doing a fundraising stream which raised 350,000 (cant remember if £ or $) for the charity.

That sure backfired on him, the fool

Fair play that he got to perform with Nicole Kidman's Husband.

I keep thinking he's the lad from Lord of the Rings/Star Trek (Karl Urban)

Keith's the one married to Nicole Kidman isnt he?
