My car is due for first NCT on 30 April 2019. Car purchased on April 2015.

My question is, if I get the NCT on 27 March, will the next NCT be due on 27 March 2021? Or 30 April deadline applies?

+1 OP, you're less than 90 days before the due date so you can do the test at any stage now and the next due date will be April 30th 2021.

Quick query which doesn't really fit anywhere else, don't want to start a whole new thread of its own.

I imported a NI car and registered it here last September. It's a 151-D reg which was first registered up north end Jan 2015, so it is due for it's first NCT in Jan 2019, correct?

I took my eye off the ball as I assumed the NCT centre would be in touch to let me know that it is due, which they never did. So it looks live I've been driving around without a valid NCT for the last month or so. Is this normally the case or should they have been in contact? Does the NI MOT cert automatically transfer and cover the car for X period of time?

No guarantee that they will contact you to notify of the NCT, and there is no automatic transfer of MOT, you have to apply for same: http://www.rsa.ie/en/RSA/Your-Vehicle/Your-Vehicle-/The-NCT--Recognition-Certs/

Have NCT Booked for Tomorrow for Ballina Centre at 12.20. It's not a Centre by preference but I just want to get the thing done.

I don't know if it's allowed by Boards or by NCT. But if it's an allowable thing to do, - I just wanted to check if there's anyone that has a Test Booked for any time Tomorrow in Castlerea Roscommon, or Galway Doughiska, or Galway Ballinasloe, that would like to swap with me for Ballina if that suits you better?!? Please remove if post not allowed on Boards Thanks..

You can't swap bookings, they will be logged on the system with those registrations.
