Hey just thought i would start a thread to keep track of specials for the festival.

1. Sky bet doing max €20 cash back on any loser on 1.30 race each day
2. PP doing money back as free bet on day 1 if 2nd 3rd or 4th min 7 runners or its 2nd only

Sky bet one is easily the best. Anyone not using that wants locking up. €20 is easily enough for my normal bet

The skybet one is for one of the 1.30 races ... as in if you put a 20 on in each race you’ll only get the special back for one of them

I think it’s worded clever ... I contacted them and they said it applies to the first 1.30 race you back. I’d double check before you have a go!

Nearly sure it's everyday as they have did this the last couple of years?

I see Bet365 are going max 25 free bet on the championship race each day once you place 25 bet on any other race that day for each day. Bets to be placed after 1 on Monday.

Yeah just got that message, in fairness between the 2 its €180 in free bets. ill be maxing both

Will people please stop putting false information up here when they don’t have a clue what their talking about. The skybet special offer is easy to understand its €20 back as cash on your first bet on the first race on all 4 days.

No all your doing is confusing people and putting them off what’s a great offer. It’s a fairly simple offer to understand.

Last year it was 20 per first race each day but a free bet was returned. It will be the same again but cash back.

The shop special is money back as a free bet when 2nd 3rd or 4th to the sp fav on day one
Max 10 back per race online not sure about the shops

Terms of the Skybet offer are up now and looks like you'll only get the 20 back once.

I don’t think that’s the problem, the problem is most don’t understand them.

It’s like and this a true story, football coupons say 90 minute betting only as sometimes games can go to extra time. I overheard a customer trying to claim he had won his bet cause some team scored in the 4th minute of injury time so it shouldn’t count. And he was adamant his bet was a winner, I do feel for betting shop staff at times.

14. Refunds will be credited within 24 hours of the completion of the race.

Full terms above. The two items bolded are the ones of interest as they can reasonably be taken to mean you get only one refund to a max of 20 and this lines up with what a previous poster said when they contacted them. I of course hope it's on all of them but it is worded interestingly.

Don’t know enough about jockeying to say myself, but I thought McCoys immediate after race comment of, if Ruby had his time over he’d do it differently (or something along those lines), seemed to be pointing the finger as much as any of the ex-jockeys ever do.

Haven’t seen a replay of Buveuir Dair’s fall, but I wonder should Geraghty shoulder any of the blame?

In saying that, I wouldn’t class either of the above as particularly unlucky. Part of the job is jumping the hurdles after all!
The two most unlucky were Kalashnikov and Sharjah, who came down through absolutely no fault of jockey or horse

Shop deal yesterday was money back if 2nd/3rd/4th in a Cheltenham race if fav won (max €20).
Online deal was the same, except didnt have to be won by the fav, and limited to €10

PP shop has MB as FB if Altior wins the 3.30. Max €20 (win bets or win part of EW bets).
No other MB offers.

Ladbrokes shop has MB as free bet (max 20) if 2nd to a favourite in Cheltenham, which is running all week apparently.

Both PP and Ladbrokes shops doing BOG for multiples this week (which is usually only available online)

Bit late as only seeing this thread now. But Betway have money back if your horse loses up to a max of €10 in both the first and the last race of each day.

Ladbrokes had a free €1 bet online 'each day', I got it yesterday and today but maybe I have to wait until tomorrow to get the next one as it isn't showing.

You might scoff at a free €1 bet but I'll take it!

As pointed out earlier the Skybet, Bruce Betting and Bet365 bets are great. Free money.
