    Hello,
Can anyone help me understand if a part-time employee that worked for 6 months in general and 2,5 month this year has the right to holidays if he/she is leaving now, after these 2,5 months?

    Thank you very much

In this case its based on 8% of hours worked. ( see Organisination of working time act 1997 )

Don't get this mixed up with 8% of gross pay , which would be wrong .

Thank you. So can I ask for the annual leave even if I'm already leaving? I still have some days before I officially leave. I just wanted to know if I could ask for the holidays for this year now.

    Thanks

Well they can choose not to give it and you will get some cash for the holiday days tagged onto your final payment instead.

You are only entitled to the holidays you have accrued so far. If you took the holidays that you accrued in the 3 1/2 months you worked last year before the end of 2018, and you didn’t take any holidays since the start of 2019 then you would be entitled to 8% of the hours you worked so far this year.
If your asking if your entitled to your entire A/L for 2019 then the answer is no.
