Mitsubishi Outlander key battery replacement

    Hi guys,
    The remote lock/unlock of my wife's Outlander (2007) started working intermittently so I decided to change out the battery to see if that would help. Now it doesn't seem to work at all!
    Does anyone know is there some reprogramming required?
    The car still starts with the key, it's just the remote locking that isn't working!
    Is there a reprogramming required and does anyone know the procedure?? Thanks in advance!!!

    I did this on a 2015 Outlander recently with no issues so I assume there is no reprogramming needed.
    If it doesn't work at all now maybe you didn't put the new battery in right?
