Looking for advice on finding a farm to rent, seems to be a few dairy farms out there but looking for more of a small beef farm type setup. It actually for use as an animal sanctuary. We currently rent a small farm up in Co Tipp but have out grown the place. We take in mainly farm animals and equines. We are not a "vegan" anti farming bunch, quite the opposite in fact, I was working as a dairy farm manager for last 18 odd years and just had enough of that life. Wanted my own thing and this is were it has lead Most important thing is that there are buildings and the place is not completely wrecked, not afraid of work though. Secured long lease and genuine landlord very important. Munster areas preferred or within an hour of Ballina (roughly)

What counties have you in mind? What size of operation do you hope to go to?

Hi, open to counties really. Anything above 20 acres if possible but not too big. Farm buildings more important, i.e being able to put up some stable dividers in a shed or something like that. Have my fingers firmly crossed that I will find something although I am not sure now.
