Has tech helped or hindered shy people to get ahead

    Opinion based of course.

I used to think it was a help as texts and email allow non verbal communication between the shy and their friends colleagues and co workers managers etc.

These days not so much. The inability to pick up the phone or approach someone is increasingly seen as a weakness. Those who are getting on beyond the average seem to be those approaching people, loud and confident even when not correct with their points.

Anyway just shooting the sh1t today, what say you oh random person ignoring your taxi driver or fellow bus passenger to go on boards? 😉

    Not shy, don't know.

I did have quite a stammer when I was young and discovering the internet. It never stopped me being sociable, but was a great alternative outlet to engage with people without any self-consciousness about speaking.
