What petrol stations in cork have adblue pumps ?

I've done a search and I've only found that the new Circle K off the M8 near fermoy have one.

Surely there must be other service stations closer to the city that have adblue pumps.

Have used that pump and it’s great but also v keen to find out where others are located, appears that no list of ad blue pumps exists?

Was passing through a west Cork town today, and popped into an Aldi to get a few items, and spotted that they had adblue . I picked up some 6L bottles for €4.99 each

Cheaper than Halfords who are €12 for 10L

I think Aldi had adblue as a special a while ago, just after Xmas, this store must be a dumping ground for unsold stuff.

The bottle came with a screw on nossle.. and the bottle shape, with the indentation for the nossle storage, looked very very similar to bottles I've seen for sale in petrol stations at a far higher price.

This will keep my friend sorted for a good while, but I'd still like to know who does adblue by the pump for the best price.. after all.. it's just water and chemical pïss.

McDonald's Top by the Kinsale Road Roundabout have a pump.

Is that an unmanned station ?

How would a Joe soap fill up without a dci card.

Yes, it's unmanned. You pre-pay with a normal credit/debit card, then validate again with the card when you finish. I used it all the time when I had a diesel car.

Validating after you fill just gives you a receipt I think.

Pull up, put your card in, select your poison (diesel, kerosen, adblue), select a pump number, select a max value to dispense, and pump away.

Well when I used it for diesel I would put in the max value (€120 or whatever), but I wouldn't actually use that much to fill the tank - I assumed if I didn't put the card in afterwards I would be charged the full amount, and not for the amount of fuel I actually used. I wanted the receipt anyway, so never tried otherwise.

It's a big county, where abouts are you?

Off the top of my head, ..

Circle K fermoy just off the m8.

Inver (formerly amber) ,Bandon Rd r'about.

    Inver, Macroom.

    East cork oil in Midleton.

    I'm sure there's more.

A lot after places stoped the pumps, instead they do the barrels as price of adblu doubled recently as most is made in ukraine. Even those with pumps may not work. You can buy barrels in any motor factor and lots of petrol stations.

I believe it's a fertilizer type chemical that's used to produce the urea portion of AD-Blue that has become increasingly expensive and a that is derived from oil.. Russian oil.

It's European manufacturers that can't get those chemicals, or that they're too expensive is what's making AD-Blue so expensive.

One of the biggest makers YARA (Norwegian) stopped making it due to cuss, and China has stopped exporting urea, in order to ensure domestic supply.

I'm sure there are other reasons as well.

Anyway, what was a cheap additive, is now costing more than diesel fuel was ,when it (AB) was first introduced.
