Wet seats

I saw a car sitting up for a while in my estate, it had some sort of moisture bag hanging from the rear view mirror, I presume to stop the car getting damp. Does anyone know where I can pick these up, I'm in Meath but close the Blanchardstown, will travel within reason.

Car seats are wet and I'm hoping after a few hours in the sun with the heat up full, this bag will remove any remaining moisture in time.

I'm open to any alternative suggestions. Thanks

I used a small plug in electric fan heater on an extension lead.

Cat litter in a sock does the same thing to remove moisture.

How did the seats get wet?

Yes, but if the seats are properly wet this will take a very long time, and might not be enough to do it at all. OP, if the seats are very wet then you might have to go the proper dehumidifier route.

Not sure if I'll be able to sorce a dehumidifier, other than buying one. Would a small fan heater be any good?

    Thanks

Left the car run with hot air on full, windows open about 2-3" and they've already dried out mostly. Will let it run for another while and see how it goes. I'll still use the moisture collector to soak up any damp, they have them in Halfords for €8

    They'll be surface dry!

Ah! OK, I'll look to getting a proper dehumidifier in then. Thanks
