    Hey all,

I've been working as an executive officer in Revenue for the past six months in an Audit unit. In the medium run I'd like to work for Revenue Legislation Services or the Department of Finance in a policy role as I've I'm not overly keen on auditing. I've been told that audit experience is meant to be really useful if you're going for promotion/transfer in Revenue and other departments, so I was wondering if there was anyone else here who used to work in audit and has made a similar transition?

In general If you want them type of roles you'll have to apply for AO positions run by PAS/revenue
