Ireland's Call is a terrible song, but this rendition is just the pits.

Tigerish defence from Earls early on, Dillane too. POM laying a marker at the breakdown early on too

    A bit sloppy to start

Poor pass from SoB but it's still one Murray should've caught.

    Awful lineout from Cronin

This on the radio anywhere? BBC 5 Live doesn’t work overseas apparently.

Some really sloppy mistakes. Dreadful lineout.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,544 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

That's not all on Cronin. Timing of the jump was all wrong .

This Smacks of a team very low on confidence
    This is Italy lads

Throw was fine. Timing all round was off. Jumper was already on was down by time ball was at the point where it should have been caught.

    Sloppy rather than nervy.

Sexton's touchfinders are great so far

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,544 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Sexton's line kicking has been excellent.

Murray has been dreadful so far. Two handling errors, three if you include the dodgy pass from SOB.

This sloppiness is doing my head in. Just 5 minutes gone and a hatful of mistakes already.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,240 ✭✭✭✭lawred2

    Not very good so far

    Great maul defence

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,073 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Ah that maul should have led to something......not a turnover.

Jordi tackled before he landed there. Not sure how Italy legally got into that position to pull the maul down.

None of that was on Cronin, lifters slipped the grip. Perfectly heighted throw

    Can’t even maul them
To compare it against the Wal vEng start this is Dreadful stuff

Furlong has BEAUTIFUL offload and passing

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,073 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Now that was goood by Ireland - great patience.

  • Registered Users Posts: 66,693 ✭✭✭✭FrancieBrady

    Patient and clinical. Good stuff

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,199 ✭✭✭troyzer

Not winning enough contacts and quickly resorting to bull**** loops.

I'm really worried about our attack now. There's nothing new.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,900 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Wonderful constant pressure. Kilcoyne was superb in all of that, Murray's variation in direction had the Italians guessing the whole time

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,166 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Good continuity. Changed the point of attack repeatedly through both halfbacks and Italy yielded yards repeatedly.

A rather popular try scorer for most, I'd imagine.

Who goes to centre with Aki off?

    Earls? Sweet Jesus.

A lot of running even in our own half.... I wonder were the lads told to try put a big score on these in hopes of other results going our way
