Hi guys, I'm looking to transfer maybe €100 to a buddy in the UK. I have his bank details but when I go to my online banking the only option to transfer money is to Irish accounts. It's only a small amount so I don't want a whole rigmarole. Which way is the easiest?

Revolut an option? Some banks required you to pick "international payment" for sending out of Ireland even though it's a SEPA payment.

Which bank? Any banks I've had an account with had the option but to send to UK you pick International Transfer.

Transferwise will be the cheapest way.

    Cheaper than free?

Exactly. Revolut is the cheapest option, being free.

Worth the rigmarole of setting it up (if you haven't already) for all the future benefits you can get from it.

The exchange rates differ, the few times I've compared EUR to GBP, transferwise has been better.

He just wants to send €100.

    I've just checked there and
    Transferwise rate is €1 = £0.8602
    Revolut €1 = £0.8601

But no fees for Revolut so total in £ is:
    Transferwise £85.21
    Revolut £86.01

That was with the lowest fee too.
