Hanging Heavy Cabinet On Cavity Block

I have to hang a relatively heavy cabinet (comms unit) which could end up around 40/45kg on a cavity block wall.

Whats the best type of fixing to use? Sleeve Anchors were mentioned to me as a suitable solution.

    Any help would be great!

Sleeve Anchors would be the solution. Make sure read the weight on the packaging they have various sizes.

The unit has 4 12 mm holes. I presume I dont need an anchor longer than 60/80mm? As soon as its in the cavity its enough?

You could try to mount it so that the upper holes line up with a horizontal mortar line. You'd have to drill a series of holes to find it (hiding same with the hung unit). That way you'd be sure of your anchor. At it's thinnest, a cavity block isn't very thick.
