    Hi, I have been offered a job through a recruitment agency but first they want to do a 5 year pre employment screening. Can anybody advise what is involved in this? Thanks

    Looking at their website it can be summarised as:

    What is their work & education history, have they any convictions, are they really who they say they are.

    Seems reasonable, although I don't think a previous conviction should ruin your life.

    from having had to go through it twice its very thorough

    What I was told by each employer was not that a conviction for example would ruin my life but that lying about it might

    HireRight basically contacted everything on my CV from the previous 5 yrs to validate it employers,colleges,references etc
    Its not really a big deal unless you've something to hide
