    Brussels.

Anyone ever been? I have and didn't think that much really. It's no Washington DC and it's super boring.

Maybe Dublin should be considered as a worthy alternative capital of the European Union?

Yay or nay? It would help the city a lot.

If you have never been to a place how do you know that it's supper boring? The EU already has an alternative capital that it moves to regularly.

I don't think the OP knows what 'nation' means.

OP, if you're trying to make a political point in objection to the EU, then maybe you might edit this to refer to the country's 'real' capital. But the Nation refers to people who share common cultural traits, so it makes no sense in thís context.

Yes, but the EU capital moving to Dublin City would make it less of a sh!t hole?

Surely this is something we should all get behind?

I'm confident it will snow at some point in the future.

We should humbly make the request having defeated the 2nd British Empire before it got off the ground on behalf on the EU.

It's a small price all things considered.

I like Brussels; it's got some interesting sites, the Atomium, Grand Place and Mini-Europe amongst others. It's also got a great range of restaurants from the very affordable to one of the highest number of Michelin starred restos in the world. The streets and pavements are a bit run down because the Flemish and French speaking communities often disagree on how to run the city - at least that's what I was told.

They should move it to Dublin so we can all give out about 'dem fordiners' taking over.
