So I'm looking at installing a stove with a back boiler in my house. the problem is that the hot water tank is about 15 foot away from the stove.

Am I going to loose too much heat to be worth it?
    any tips or ideas?

You can inflate the pipework, would be more concerned about making sure it will work under gravity in the event of a power cut and the circulation pump stops, just after you have loaded up a bag of Polish
