    Hi,

Not sure if I'm posting in the right section (apologies if I'm not)

I have a 2008 Opel Astra and I'm looking for a ballpark figure for the following repairs after my NCT:

    4 x new tyres
    Windscreen washer not working
Rear coil spring on passenger side replacement

    Any help greatly appreciated.

Why you replace only coil not coils? For safety reason it is good to replace the both on same time

EDIT: And remember the coils can be very different. From comfort to heavy duty. Be 100% sure you get the right ones, not just a random coils.

    • Tyres - you can find prices online or possibly on the websites of local companies.
    • Windscreen washer not working - depends on what's wrong.
    • Rear coil spring replacement - 2 springs plus labour around 150 but depends on what brand and indy does it.
Ring or call into a few places and get quotes.

Tyres are most likely 205/55 16. Budget brands from around €60 each fitted.

Windscreen washer not working is usually just the fuse on those Astras IIRC.

As already mentioned it’s best to replace both rear springs. The other poster is there or thereabouts with the €150.

If hose is disconnected from the nozzle, it works?
