estate of deceased

    Recently we went through a death in the family, the estate was fairly complicated but we have now satisfied revenue, they issued a tax clearance cert and the estate was wound up and dispersed, the time from start to finish was 1 and a half years, my question is....if a claim comes in now or in the future against the estate do we have to pay it or is it too late for anyone to put a further claim against the estate, many thanks.

    If it is less than 6 months since the grant of probate a section 117 could come in.
    An estate can be sued for up to 2 years after death.
