Turning 25, First Job, Want to start my pension

Hey guys so I am a bit behind when it comes to the work life, I went through college straight after school, not really being able to afford to work, yes sounds dumb but sadly its the truth, after college I spent 3 years looking for employment.

I recently (November 18) started my new job and was wondering what is the best way to go about starting my pension, my job has no pension scheme so thats out, I am only currently on 21k a year so its not the best, but it is full time work, and I would rather start early than start late if you get me.

What are my options, if any, to start a pension?

    Thanks for any help
