    Hey lads,

Looking to get a new TV for my father. €450 budget. Doesn't have to be anything amazing just needs easy interface for Netflix etc. And a decent bright panel with good sound.

He doesn't even have sky hd so needless to say 4k isn't a major priority. 49 inch approx.

    Any recommendations?

    Hi Calculon1982,

It's quite difficult to find a TV around this size which is not a 4K panel but the 4K panels do have better brightness and colour representation.

Around this budget I would highly recommend the LG 49UK6400 at 449 euro. It has a great 4K panel with good colour and brightness. The smart interface is also very user friendly:

Our 449 euro price includes a 6 year guarantee and shipping to ROI.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

    Hi David,

    Thankd for the response.

I see the Samsung UE50NU7400 has been reduced to 479 pound on the www.richersounds.com - any chance you could do it for €479?

    Cheers

    Hi Calculon1982,

Unfortunately there's no movement on our web price on this Television so the best price I could do would be either £479 or 629 euro. This TV is currently only available to collect in store but I can certainly order one in if you'd like to collect it.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

That's a serious markup on the euro price :O

Thanks for your post Captain Flaps,

Our Euro pricing is not a direct conversion from sterling to Euro. Our Euro prices reflect current Irish market values which is why we offer our prices in sterling as well as it may work out cheaper to let your bank do the conversion when purchased in pounds.

    Kind regards

    David
