The most important is to understand, why the car fails. It is good idea to go far away nct than local one. The reason is simple, you need the warm up the engine before the nct. If your local one is only 2km away, it is not enough to get the temperature up. Or just drive on highway 20-30km. The testing temperature must be around 90 degrees. If your engine temperature does not go so high or bit higher, you have a old (bad) thermostat. Such a simple device can cost to you the nct failure.
