New madness from the British pm in an attempt to deflect from the ongoing crisis. A joint UK and Ireland World Cup bid, rediculous idea we have one stadium in the Republic that could host games (maybe also Croke Park if gaa play ball and England won't like that big a stadium being used as they'd need to give Ireland a semi final), improving anymore stadia would be stupid as the facilities would never be needed again.

A joint UK and Ireland bid would give 5 places to hosts. Cant see that happening. That's after you get past the fact they dont need us. England can do it alone. Maybe add Wales if they want co hosts.

It'd probably only have 400 seats...

And not to forget our speciality in construction, a unique talent in providing no parking what so ever and pitch surface will be atrocious.

Knowing FIFA there'll be about 150 countries in the World Cup finals by then so it won't be an issue.
