Bourgogne des Flandres

I was in Bruge last year and had this beer. Loved it but I can't seem to find it in Ireland.
It's available online but most sites will only ship to mainland Europe. Does anyone know of anywhere this is available in Ireland?

    Thanks.

Surprised to hear it's difficult to find. It's imported by Premier International and I would expect any of the specialist beer off licences would have it in stock. Where are you?

I'm in Dublin. My nearest off license that does a good selection of beers would be Sweeneys in Glasnevin. They do most the beers I liked from Bruge and they used to do Bourgogne des Flandres but hasn't been able get it in for a while.

Any other beer specialists I should look at?

Long gone from Premier's portfolio, you won't find it in ROI, maybe up North in the Vineyard or somewhere like KWM.

Are they still bringing John Martin beers in? I see a new raft of Timmermans fruit lambics in cans, for instance.

Definitely available in Belfast if you're up that way.

Rodenbach is a very fine substitute, if you've not had it.

Thanks for the replies. Don't know when I'll be up in Belfast next but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it. I'll try the Rodenbach for sure.

Yeah those are available along with Gueuze, and Oude Kriek. Strange that they dropped it but go figure. Duchesse De Bourgogne is available as well, briefly imported by Radleys who have now stopped bringing in Belgian beer. Full disclosure, work in Martin's!
