First question - For the help to buy scheme it is due to be scrapped at the end of the year, does this mean if you have done all the donkey work in applying for it before it is scrapped but before you get the money off the property (with paperwork and banks holding up etc) will the government still honour the payments?

Second question - I think there is a buy back clause if you sell up before 5 years of buying, does this still apply if it is scrapped? For example if I received 10k of a payment off the price of the house, even if the scheme is scrapped would i still have to pay the get pay back clause?

    Thanks for the help
