Why would we do that to Irelands favourite ethnic minority?

Probably a result of their differing positions on Brexit

Why are they always so violent and irrational? What causes this? Inbreeding?

Bizarrely you wouldn’t breed horses or dogs as closely

Probably means you've 'sold out' your heritage for some blocks, copper pipes and civility or something.

They're in an airport, where the feck are security and police?

The most upsetting thing for me here is that the person recording it couldn't fùckin turn their phone to landscape.

Absolutely agree. If you or I did something similar, I reckon it would be curtains.

Cannot understand how they got away with that kind of behavior.

Oh I see the police eventually arrived, and they all slinked off.

Belfast city airport has armed police on it. Where the flip where they.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,235 ✭✭✭✭Cee-Jay-Cee

That’s nothing unusual for them and quite reserved compared to their normal behaviour.

Do you reckon if you were late for your flight your insurance would cover you?

The call might go something like this

Max : Hi I've missed my flight and want to claim on my insurance

Insurance Person: No Problem, what was the reason?

Max : Well, I couldn't get past the fight on the departure lounge

Insurance Person : I see....if you have the details of the perpetrators perhaps we can claim off their insurance as they were to blame?

Max : Well.......... their insurance? Hmmmmmm....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,781 ✭✭✭clappyhappy

Video is 5 mins long so the fight probably started a bit before that, no sign of security for that whole time and only one lady tries to stop them. Fair dues to her but you'd think at an airport security would be there immediately.

    Exactly?

Any other airport in the world, dozens of armed police would be all over that in under 60 seconds. And in many cases, some of them would have been shot. Pity...

Looks like a clever visual viral ad for the '20% Great Savings' poster in the centre of the video (hence no subtitles).

If the Cop had any sense, he'd have a taser in each hand and red dots for the two main instigators.

usually violence is by people of low intelligence. It always about some ancient feud going back to the middle ages. Inbredding doesnt help at all

Imagine getting on a plane with with them.

Were the security people afraid to tackle them.

Tell the truth, if you were armed police, would you slink off and have a cup of tea and wait for the drama to die down or watch it from the safety of the control room?

Or would you foolishly break out the lockers, helmets teargas and helmets? gas them and hog tie them and then get branded for "wacism" by superiors? Get moved for a good career job to archives and cold cases?

Let them beat the sugar out of each other and then move in is the correct answer.

The security people could plausibly claim so. Practical option.

That actually sounds like a troop of hooting chimps. Unreal. I'm also surprised at the lack of security intervention. In an airport. Belfast airport of all places.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

"The incident, in its entirety, lasted seven minutes with police arriving on scene within three minutes. The rapid intervention of police was not captured in the videos posted on social media.

"Airport police, PSNI and staff are to be commended for their professionalism in dealing with this incident in such a swift manner."

really? I must have been watching a different video.
