So he sold you a receiver when you need a transmitter (take SPDIF/TosLink (fiber optic) or Analog audio from the TV and transmit to Bluetooth from your description).
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06WD8Z21S/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , can be switched to either transmit or receive, I've used it for transmit with zero issues. The TV you listed has SPDIF so that'd be the best way to connect it, failing that standard stereo phono-cables will also work. The item recommended includes a cable for each so you're set.

EDIT: Only mentioning it since it might be important for your work but is related to your comment on why a modern TV wouldn't include bluetooth. Unless your transmitter and phones support AptX low latency there will be noticeable lag (about .5 seconds) between video and audio. It can be really annoying for lipsync to dialog for example. So I presume TV manufacturers, even if they do pony up for a higher quality transmitter, do not want to get into trying to support compatibility between their TV and your phones. Better to not include it and let users get (and support) their own solution. That's why higher end wireless phones intended for the movie market don't use bluetooth at all. The transmitter above does support it btw, just make sure your phones do aswell if latency will be an issue for the work.
