Mercedes UK warranty

    Im planning on buying a Mercedes 182 in UK, Can anyone advise if the balance of the warranty will be valid in this country?

    As far as I know it is but only if you go to a garage in the north

    Hello Iognaid. Have you already put down a deposit on the car or are you still in the browsing phase?

    The reason I ask is that up until a couple of years ago Mercedes main dealership/ Mercedes UK were not selling cars to Irish customers who gave an Irish address. I'd be happy to be proven wrong buy I do remember that being an issue.

    It's different manufacturer to manufacturer but I'm 99% sure that only the first 2 years are transferable with Mercedes.
