Underfloor heating zone not coming on

    Hello all,

I have UFH in the apartment, it seems that one of the actuators is not working correctly and the zone it corresponds to does not heat up when the system is on.

However if I take the actuator off the valve then the zone does heat up.

We have manual thermostats for each of the rooms that are all set to the same level.

Can anyone chime in as to why this may be happening or recommend an underfloor heating technician in Dublin? The lad who services the boiler didnt know anything about the system itself.

    Cheers

More than likely the actuator has gone faulty, but you need to check with a multimeter if the room stat is sending a demand for the actuator to open.
