Where to buy acid

    Is it even legal to buy? I've never seen it sold anywhere. I guess too dangerous like fireworks, ban them fireworks for health and safety!!!
    I'm looking for sulfuric or hydrochloric

    B&Q.

    Look for Stone & Masonry cleaner (stone acid).
    This is hydrochloric acid

    surprisingly easy to obtain but with so many legitimate uses.
    now remember the bathtub has to be pure old fashioned enamel, not the newer plastic stuff

    Depends how strong you want it.

    You can buy hydrochloric acid in Homebase.
    It's patio cleaner.
    Sulphuric acid is sold as drain cleaner.

    For high concentrations you need to go to chemical suppliers, but it's not illegal to buy AFAIK.
    however it's illegal to dump the pure stuff so there might be questions asked.
