    Hi,

I moved to Ireland with my wife, she has Stamp 3.
One question, can she work as a volunteer?
I found several different information regarding that, some say that she can, others say that she has to go to the GNIB/INIS and update some information.... can she be a volunteer?

Are you on a critical skills employment permit?

When you moved to a Stamp 4 if you were previously a Critical Skills Permit holder your wife would be entitled to work.

If you were here originally on a Critical Skills Permit your wife now doesn’t require an employment permit to work in the state. Check out the INIS website for the recent announcement of this change.
