Thinking about buying my council house if eligible. Just wondering if anyone else has bought their council house? And also the pros and cons? TIA

I did it about 18 months ago.

The process of buying can be a little trickier, but it's all do-able.

If you've any specific questions feel free to ask and i'll do what I can to help.

Was it difficult buying out your council house. My dad has become a widower recently and hes nearly a pensioner so me and the rest of the family want to help him buy it out

It's a financial agreement like any other. You find out what's owed, and you pay it. Wallah. haha.
