I have timber post and rail put up with 13 years going into my farm. Some of the posts are rotted and will need replacing. Obviously the ones that are rotten are not hardwood.

Do I have any come back on this if I contact the contractor that put up the fencing about this issue?

Some of the manufacturers offer a guarantee, 10-15 years not certain which. It’s worth asking.

Don't mean to hijack your thread but has anyone ever put up crash barriers as a rail around yard? I'm thinking of doing around 75 feet at each end of a shed.
