Carers Allowance Inspector

    Hi folks

    I have applied for Carers Allowance for my 18 year old son who has ASD, Dyspraxia, SPD and GAD
    Received a letter from Dept of SW as an inspector is calling to verify pay, rent, ID etc
    I only work 12 hours per week

    Does anyone know what to expect from this meeting ?

    Any advice appreciated

    Please don’t worry about this. The inspector just wants to see for him/herself that your circumstances are as you have described them in your application. You’ve nothing to worry about.
