Enduring Power of Attorney

    Hello
Some advice please if you would.

My father recently got in touch with his solicitor regarding Enduring Power of Attorney. His solicitor told him that he needs to complete some forms and then get back to him. He never said which forms or advised where to get them and was very little help to him.

Ive searched online, rang the Citizens Information and have still come up with nothing.

Can someone please advise where to locate such forms (if they do exist).

    Many thanks

I think the process is seperate for each organisation, you would visit each bank and get the forms processed, then you would act on behalf of your father.

They are in the schedule to the Powers of Attorney Act 1996.

Been searching for this all morning but to no avail. Am I looking for a specific set of forms to be printed and completed?

    edit
Think I found it. Is it on this link http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/eli/1996/si/196/made/en/print

Do I just print off and let him complete it?

Ask the solicitor for the forms.

I doubt the solicitor was suggesting he find the forms

I doubted it too until my father said that the solicitor directed him to find them online or at the Citizen's Information office.
I know what Id be doing if my solicitor told me that after I asked for his help.....

The solicitor has a secretary? Call her.

This is not quite correct: you visit them after the EPA is signed and comes into force.
