Using the google “busy hours” function

When you look up a restaurant or bar on google it will normally show with the aid of a bar chart the number of patrons normally in the place at each hour.

    Does anyone know?

Is this adjusted by the day of the week or at least by working weekdays and weekends?

Secondly is it possibly to search places through google so to only show busy places at that hour?

Not sure if I’ve explained that well.

What happens is where people have location turned on their device tells Google that the user is static in that place at that time so they can build up a record of time it takes people to enter and exit. Similar system works for traffic reports so they can show what times a particular road is normally busy.

Don't believe it's possible to search for busy or quiet places.

Click the day and it should give you the option to pick any of the days of the week.

Thanks for the replies, interesting you can’t look for places according to how busy they are. A big consideration when going to a pub etc.
