Boyzone (last ever tour)?

It seems like a lot of bands go on these last ever tours (farewell and goodnight is what boyzone called this one). They go off line for a few years until they realise the pension pot is not as full as they would have hoped. A few years later they re-emerge with another tour called something along the lines of “the absolutely it tour, we promise we won’t be back” and the cycle repeats itself until they aren’t 90 and getting wheeled out bed pan and all.

Once a band labels a tour “the last tour ever”. It should be a legally binding promise.

Some scam alright. But you can't blame them. They are massively limited in what they can do. If they keep churning out the same poppy rubbish year after year for 20 years, they will just fall into obscurity and riddiculed. But this way, they are making money, elevating themselves towards a statue of false "legends", and not even have to come up with new material. THey'll probably release a best-off soon or a live show with 2 token new drivel songs. And keep the money machine just keep on going.

Pity Oasis and The Smiths wouldn't think like that!!!!

Two completely sold out nights at the 3 Arena though.
It seems 90% of the audience was 30 something women.
    Jesus.
I blame their parents, exposing them to this sh1te
