    Hi,

Just looking into getting a weighting scales and getting the TAMS grant for it but i read somewhere that you need to spend over 2000 to qualify for the grant.

    Is this correct?

    Thanks

40% if over 40 years old. If under 40 in your own name or partnership you'd get 60% back.

i have applied online - does anyone know how long you must wait before you get approval?

You must wait for the tranche to close firstly. Mine took 2 months to the day from the closure date for the approval to come through.

Can you combine say scales and calving gate to reach the €2000? Maybe something else. Headscoup? Or is it per item?

Ya, throw in a calving gate, yard lights or a bit of fencing and you’ll hit the limit

Hi all, by any chance did any of you see anything in the IFJ lately about the possibility of 'slat mats' being included in the Tams scheme.
If popped up on FB sometime last week but I couldn't open it as not subscribed to the IFJ ?

See article attached. It’s some sort of loophole and you have to be under the 45k euro costs for a shed, but can then include the cost of the mats and still be under the reference costs.

I don’t really understand it but it might be possible if you’re in the right circumstances in the first place

I'm trying to upload 3 education certs(third level qualification, 100 hour and 80 hour teagasc courses) to my TAMS application. As far as I can see, I can only upload one cert. Is this correct or am I missing something?

Using file explorer Locate your 3 jpg files,
Select them by holding down the CTRL key as your select the three file names,
This groups the names together, and three files will be highlighted,
Right click again and select, “combine supported files in Acrobat”.
You then have your three files combined into one PDF file.

which can be uploaded as one

Thanks very much for that. Will give it a shot next time I'm at my desk.
